Tamil Nadu Stationery and Printing Department Recruitment 2026
The Directorate of Stationery and Printing, Government of Tamil Nadu, has released an official recruitment notification for 2026. They are looking for qualified candidates to fill various technical positions in the Government Central Press, Chennai, and other regional units.
1. Department Name
Directorate of Stationery and Printing, Tamil Nadu (எழுதுபொருள் மற்றும் அச்சுத்துறை ஆணையரகம்).
2. Name of the Posts & Vacancies
A total of 23 vacancies are available across the following roles:
Assistant Offset Machine Technician: 10 Posts
Junior Mechanic: 08 Posts
Junior Electrician: 04 Posts
Plumber cum Electrician: 01 Post
3. Pay Scale (Salary)
All the above posts fall under Level 8 of the Tamil Nadu Revised Pay Rules.
Salary Range: Rs. 19,500 – Rs. 71,900 per month.
4. Educational Qualifications
Assistant Offset Machine Technician: Diploma in Printing Technology OR ITI (Litho Offset Machine) with 1 to 3 years of experience.
Junior Electrician: SSLC Pass + ITI in Electrician trade with Apprentice training OR Diploma in EEE.
Junior Mechanic: SSLC Pass + ITI in Mechanic trade with Apprentice training OR Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Plumber cum Electrician: SSLC Pass + ITI Certificate in Plumbing.
5. Age Limit (As of July 1, 2025)
Minimum Age: 18 Years (Completed).
Maximum Age (General/OC): 32 Years.
Maximum Age (BC / MBC / DNC / BCM): 34 Years.
Maximum Age (SC / ST / Destitute Widows): 37 Years. (Special relaxations apply for Ex-Servicemen and PwD candidates as per Govt. norms).
