Sub: Filling up Sixteen (16) Vacancies in the Grade Of Staff car driver (Ordinary Grade) (general Central Service, Gr.C, Non-Gazetted, Non-ministerial) In the Rs.19,900/- (Level 2 in the pay matrix as per 7th CPC) in Chennai City Region, Chennai - 600 002 and Central Region (TN), Tiruchirapalli - 620 001 on Deputation/ Absorption basis in the department of posts faling which by Deputation/ absorption from other Ministries/ on Deputation or Reemployment of armed forces Personnel - Reg.
It is proposed to fill up Sixteem(16) vacncies of staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade) (General cental service, Gr.c, Non - Gazetted, Non- Ministerial) In the Pay Rs.19,900/-(Level 2 inn the pay Matrix As per 7th CPC) in Chennai City Region, Chennai - 600 002 and Central Region (TN), Tiruchirapalli - 620 001 Department Of posts failing which by Deputation/ Absorption form other Ministries/ on the Deputation or

REGULATION OF PAY AND OTHER TERMS OF DEPUTATION/ABSORPTION:
* Rs.19,900 (Level 2 in the pay matrix as per 7th CPC). pay will be regulated as per rules
AGE LIMIT
* The Maximum Age limit for appointment by deputation/ absorption shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the Closing date of Receipt of applications.
ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS
* Possession of a valid Driving Licence for light and heavy motor vehicles;
* Knowledge of Motor mechanism ( The Candidate should be able to remove minor defets in Vehicle);
* Experience of Driving Light and heavy motor vehicle for at least three years;
* Pass in 10 th standard from a recognized Board or institute.
PERIOD OF DEPUTATION
* The Period of deputation Including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other Department Central Government shall ordinarily not Exceed Three Years.
PERIOD OF PROBATION
* Two years for reemployed.
* Application (in duplicate) Only in the prescribed proforma (Annexure-I) of the eligible candidates whose services can be spared immediately on selection, together with the certificate from the forwading authority (in Proforma Annexure II) along with the Following Documents:
i) Integrity certificate
ii) List of major/minor penalties imposed if any, on the official during the last 10 years;(if no penalty has been imposed a "nil" Certificate should be enclosed)
iii) Vigilance clearance certificate.
iv) Attested photocopies of the ACRs for the last five years (2016-17 to 2021-21) (attested on each page by a Gazzetted officer) (wherever applicable)
The required documents mentioned in the notification along with relevant documents in support of qualification and experience, may be forward to " O/o the Senior Manager (JAG), Mail Motor Service, No.37, Greams Road, Chennai - 600 006, on or before 12.08.2022. Applications not forwarded through proper channel or those received without the requisite certificates and necessary documents or received after last date will not be entertained.
* The candidates who apply for the psot will not be allowed to withdraw their candidature subsequently.
