Applications are invited from eligible persons t work full time on contract basis for a period of two years "LEGAL AID AID DEFENSE COUNSEL SYSTEM" dealing exclusively with legal Aided matter in crimminal cases, proposed to be established in the district legal services authority, theni. details of the name of the post and number of requirment are given below

ELIGIBILITY & QUALIFICATION
The persons applying for the post in Legal Aid Defense Counsel System (LADCS), He/She;
* Must be a citizen of india and local resident of Theni District
* Should not be less than 21 years as on the date of notification
and others eligibility and education qualifications as follow;
TERMINATION OF SERVICES
Services of legal aid defence counsel in the office of legal aid defence counsel systemcan be terminated at any time, without any prior notice in the following cases:
* He/She substantially breaches any duty or service required in the office
* seeks or Accepts any pecuniary gains from the legal aid seekersor beneficiary his friend or relative.
* Charged or Convicted for any Offence.
* Indulges in any type of political activities.
* Found incapable of rendering professional services of the required standards.
* Failure t attend training programmes without any sufficient cause.
* Indulges in Activities prejudcial to the workinng of legal aid defence counsel office.
* Using his/her position in legal aid defence counsel office to secure unwarranted privileges or advantages for him/ herself of others.
* Acts in breach of code ethics.
* Remains absent without leave for more than two weeks.
ESTIMATED SALARIES
* Monthly salary of a Chief legal aid defense counsel - From Rs. 60,000 to 1,00,000/-
* Monthly salary of Deputy chief legal aid defence - From Rs. 40,000 to 75,000/-
* Monthly salary of Assistanht legal aid defence - From Rs. 25,000/- to 40,000/-
* Monthly salary of clerk / Office Assistant -From Rs. 12,000 to 20,000/-
* Monthly salary of Receptionist - Cum - Data Entry Operator - from Rs. 12,000/- to 15,000/-
* Monthly salary of office peon - From Rs. 10,000 to 15,000/-
HOW TO APPLY
The standard form of applications with his notification shall be used for apply the post along with two number of passport photographs and the applicants shall enclose self-attested photocopies of educational qualification along with the experience certificate.
